it’s not just about the average cost of data tho. go to any mountain region or some remote parts of north india and you’ll find places where there’s barely any cell service.

and all it takes is one natural calamity for that connection to disappear faster than my ex

i’ve actually talked to people living in remote areas who’ve never had proper connectivity, and they still knew about Starlink, Elon Musk and what the product is doing. that honestly caught me off guard didn’t expect that conversation at all

higher risk, higher potential reward. obviously fraud is a different story, but the entire model is built around taking asymmetric bets
