What does this mean?

The NSA (1980) permits preventive detention without formal charges for a period ranging from 12 days to a maximum of 12 months.

He is my friend Dev Kotak. He works for Times Now. His family stays in Mumbai, and he puts up all by himself in NCR. Today evening at 6 PM near Jantar Mantar he was brutally beaten by the so-called "student protestors". His phone and watch has been snatched, his glasses were broken. His only mistake was to exercise his FREEDOM OF PRESS! He was not there for any personal gain, but to report and raise issues of who claim to be "students". An FIR has been lodged at the Parliament Street Police Station and I hope we can at least serve justice to him.

Let me tell you what has happened. It was a hijacked protest fueled and funded by some anti-national elements...and at the end it was innocent students who thought that this really is a 'student protest' facing the brunt of the authorities on the streets. Any nationalist can never even think of harming nation's property and civic infrastructure.

#JantarMantarViolence || Delhi Police source tells me that at least 70 individuals have been taken into custody following a violent attack that vandalised at least three police cars. Sources suggest that Delhi Police is now also investigating "greater conspiracy" angle with violence being linked to external threats like Pakistan and China. First official ruling against E20 Petrol???🚨

In a first-of-its-kind ruling linked to E20 fuel, a consumer court in Chhattisgarh's Raipur has ordered a vehicle manufacturer and dealer to compensate a car owner whose vehicle allegedly suffered engine damage after using E20 petrol.

The court directed payment of repair costs, compensation and litigation expenses, holding that consumers have little choice as E20 fuel becomes widely available across the country.
