In my limited understanding of the situation in Kashmir, I believe that this was equivalent to 'apne pair mein kulhadi maar lena.' The separatists knew that the integration of Kashmir was firmly in progress and that they were losing onto their 'lands.'

So they did what they limited minds allowed them to do- STRIKE TERROR. Thinking this may help their cause. However, I firmly believe that the Indian government will strongly retaliate to this and bring justice us all...
