This is Keralam... This is how the Congress govt is dealing with a protest... BJP state president @RajeevRC_X and other leaders/workers got injured...
But nobody will talk about it. Nobody will remember democracy and the right to protest. And we all know the reason.
What were @blrcitytraffic trying to hide that they chased a citizen for recording them?
Even if he caused traffic, under which provision of the MV Act does that justify pelting stones at him?
Along with the RSS, ayogya now wants to ban citizen journalism too. Uh?🤷♂️
🚶 BENGALURU'S FOOTPATHS ARE GETTING THEIR SPACE BACK
From July 1–10, the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) is running a 'Safe Footpath Campaign' across 1,000 km of road network — clearing encroachments from footpaths in all five city corporations.
📊 WHY THIS MATTERS
30% of every 1,000 road accident deaths in Bengaluru are pedestrians. The Supreme Court has been clear: walking on a footpath safely is a fundamental right, not a privilege.
🚫 WHAT'S BEING CLEARED
➡Illegal parking on footpaths (vehicles will be towed)
➡Name boards, chairs, tables, and kiosks blocking pedestrian paths
➡Vendors and shops spilling onto walkways
✅ HOW IT'S BEING DONE
➡Notices will be issued before any action — not a sudden crackdown
➡Action will follow the Street Vendors' Protection Act and SC guidelines
➡Municipal officers, police, and clearance teams will coordinate
➡Damaged slabs and kerbs will be repaired alongside clearance
It follows the #1KmChallenge encouraging people to walk short distances instead of driving — Bengaluru is trying to become more walkable, one footpath at a time.
🗣️ WE NEED YOUR EYES ON THE GROUND
Let's make Bengaluru's footpaths walkable again — together.

Vehicle buyers pay huge upfront taxes, fees, and cesses. In return, they deserve the basic right to buy the exact fuel their vehicle engines were designed to run on.
If the govt wanted to "experiment" with E20 fuel, they should have done it responsibly by either buying a sample fleet of second-hand cars to test in a controlled settings or invite willing citizens to opt-in using subsidized fuel.
Forcing a mandatory policy onto everyone first and checking if it damages their engines later is outrageous. Treating the entire public as involuntary test subjects is a massive overreach.
Is it legal to encroach on a footpath by constructing temporary housing for construction workers??? Two buildings have done the same. Please answer @blrcitytraffic@GBA_office@ICCCBengaluru
Location :- Near Basaveshwaranagar circle.
Sir near kalyan nagar today on ORR around 3.07pm an auto coming from wrong side threatened to hit my car and he also punched my car with his hand. I was travelling with my wife and 3 month old daughter. Kindly take some action Number: KA03AM1440
@BlrCityPolice@blrcitytraffic
This is Nusa Road. It connects Silver Oaks Main Rd to Varthur Sarjapur Rd. Several citizens use this road from Varthur and Gunjur to reach Marathahalli and ORR. There are massive craters on this road and is in dire need of repair.

A 10km stretch on Bangalore ORR hosts the world’s elite tech giants (Google, Amazon, NVIDIA, etc.). A few 100m away in Green Glen Layout—where homes cost 3 Cr+—roads are in pathetic state.
Who is responsible for this apathy? It’s time for serious accountability! @DKShivakumar
CDP road in Gunjur ORR tech corridor and has been neglected for years. Govt has taken the people of this area for granted. @DKShivakumar had promised deadline of 31 Oct last year to fix potholes , but looks like the year was not mentioned, so not sure if it was 2025, 26 or 2040
This is the current condition of the road connecting Balagere road, used daily by residents of Sobha Dream Acres, Sobha Sentosa, and several other nearby communities.
Every morning, school buses carrying children travel through this stretch. With the monsoon almost here, this road is likely to become muddy, slippery, and unsafe for both pedestrians and vehicles.
While construction activity may continue in the area, basic road infrastructure cannot wait indefinitely. Thousands of families use this road every day.
Last year, we witnessed incidents caused by poor road conditions. Are we waiting for a similar situation to repeat before action is taken?
Requesting the concerned authorities to urgently prioritize road carpeting and make this stretch safe before the rains arrive.
Development is welcome. Neglecting safety is not. The time to act is before an accident happens, not after.

Nitin Gadkari ji says "A new AI-driven toll system will capture photos of number plates & deduct toll amount directly from bank accounts".
So why can’t we use same technology to capture photos of potholes & deduct salaries of govt employees?
Accountability can't be one sided!
These entitled freeloaders were warned weeks before the war broke out to leave, but they didn’t.
Then the moment the war started, it was “help, help.” Now the Indian Embassy is escorting them out of Tehran on arrangements made by the embassy, essentially at the taxpayer’s expense.
Soon they’ll be flown back, and once they reach here, some will complain that they didn’t get proper meals or Wi-Fi on the bus, while others will demand to be dropped at their homes.
The govt should bill them for the resources spent and the risks taken to evacuate them. Otherwise, this cycle of entitlement will continue forever.
The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is perhaps the most expensive -worst built/managed highway in India. Travelled on it to reach Niwai. Absolutely no discipline or monitoring. (1) Sand mafia owned dumpers drive in the overtaking lane to escape non-existent cops. (2) Most have no/hidden Registration plates. So if they hit someone they can’t be tracked (3) no cops as netas & babus head sand/stone mafia or own the trucks
(4) Trucks drive faster than speed limit. Most speed monitor posts not working. Keep sleeping @NHAI_Official
👋You build 2 lanes,3 lanes,4 lanes, even 6 lanes.
Yet trucks end up occupying every lane at same time.
90% of the time,we are forced to play a zigzag game just to overtake.
When will we see strict lane discipline,at least on controlled expressways.
Guys, this is Colombo. Imagine they can still deliver this level of infra even after bankruptcy. I am yet to see a clean, green city like this in India.
🚨 FOREIGN TOURIST : "I paid several times more for entry to the Taj Mahal. Yet, I still had to stand in the same general queue.

The middle class is being sandwiched between the rich class and the poor class.
The middle class is caught between rising costs and rising taxes.
For the middle class, this Budget had one message. Carry on as you were.
In Parliament, I pointed out that there was no revision in income tax slabs and no increase in standard deduction, despite stagnant salaries and inflation at 6.8%. I urged the Finance Minister to correct this in this Budget itself by raising the standard deduction from ₹75,000 to ₹1.5 lakh for the salaried class.
Meanwhile, household costs keep climbing. Education 8% 🔺, healthcare 9% 🔺, rent 7% 🔺, food 6% 🔺, transport 5% 🔺.
For the first time in years, personal income tax collections are higher than corporate tax. Individuals paid around ₹11 lakh crore, corporates about ₹9.8 lakh crore.
Either give tax relief, or give investment savings & incentives so the middle class can save more and build wealth.
