Transitioning from a sport to the real world is something that every athlete will go through at some point in life.
For a lot of us, it is all we have ever known.
After being a multi-sport athlete for the last 20+ years
Here is 6 ways to go from Athlete to Real World:
โYou were told Mr. Floyd died because his heart was too big. After seeing the evidence, you know Mr. Floyd died because Derek Chauvinโs heart was too small.โ - Prosecutor

This is a text message Kobe Bryant sent last year. It is haunting and moving and sad.
But this story is about the recipient of the text, not its sender. Coach John Altobelli lived to enrich others. He embodied the power of teachers. And then he was gone: https://t.co/iCdoXqiqev

Iโve been to 2 @SFSkyforce games this year and each time @MychalMulder has absolutely lit it up. ๐ฅ
Heโs back at it tonight... ๐
Love his game. ๐
Have a (career-high) night, Mike! ๐ฏ
Mychal Mulder scored a game-high 30 PTS (career-high 8 ๐s) Saturday night as he led the Force against the Clippers.
Most Liked Tweet of October - Everyone loves "Cyclone" plays but sometimes the build up is too complicated for some levels...this solves that problem as you can run this easily out of a Diamond Set. Check out more Cyclone plays here https://t.co/jSZyKkNM0j
In my almost 20 years of coaching basketball Iโm still waiting for the day that:
โข Iโm sick
โข I couldnโt get a ride
โข family problems
โข have to babysit my little brother or sister
etc
happens on the day of a game.
Funny how these issues always arise for practice.
