Playing with oobleck, writing and drawing upside down, and eating banana dogs for snack we’re just some of the fun things that made Wacky Wednesday a blast!!
We may have frosting on our clothes, in our hair, and all over the classroom, but we had so much fun making gingerbread houses! Our beautiful houses even lured our run away gingerbread men back to us! What a great day!
The Kindergarten Holidays Around the World trip started today! Lines at the airport were long, but the flight was great. Stop 1: The Netherlands. We learned about Sinterklaas and got to try on some wooden shoes!
It was a perfect day to go outside and explore fall on the Ryan Park Nature Trail! Mrs. Simmons’ class joined us on our hike. We made it all the way to the outside classroom!
We did an author study on Kevin Henkes this week. Everyone got to take home a copy of his book Chrysanthemum! They were so excited! We want to send a huge thank you to our Book Fairies for our first book of the year!
We started our first STEM project of the year! Can you build a house of marshmallows and toothpicks that can withstand the huffing and puffing of the big bad wolf? Stay tuned tomorrow to see which little piggie houses didn’t fall down! #rprhinos#APride
