While $SPX historically underperforms in midterm years, the trend over the last 20 years has actually been improving (excluding the 2022 anomaly).
How will 2026 play out?

Surprisingly, for a repo with an average of 20 dependants, selecting just 1/5 of the test cases is nearly 100% effective at detecting bugs.

Just realized @github docs has been using LiquidJS for 4 years, which I created for JS community after getting used to Liquid templates working with GitHub Pages. Happy to see the idea come full circle and power GitHub Docs today.

Added https://t.co/opioOYYCLH to LiquidJS's financial contributors page!
Not sure how GitHub will feel about it, but it's great to acknowledge the spirit of giving back to the community. Wishing your business continued success!
I've been reading The Social Contract lately, and I feel Russell's take on Rousseau is unfair.
He focuses too much on romanticism and ignores Rousseau’s solid arguments on citizenship, sovereignty, and the social contract. He truly shaped modern civil society.👀
This reminded me of a story in “Twilight of the Gods” where a journalist asked a GI what’s the first thing he wanted after returning home. He said, “Fk my wife.” The journalist didn’t give up, “What about the second then?”“Get off these f*ing hobnail boots”
War makes us barbaric
Many people don’t know this side of history.
After WW2, over TWO MILLION women and children in Germany were brutally raped during the Red Army’s advance by Soviet troops who believed it to be a “heroic act.”
Where did they get that idea from?
A special thanks to @ccoVeille for highlighting how this can be useful beyond the Chinese community – I hadn’t realized the broader potential!

🚀I’d like to share one of my recent projects: md-padding.
Its AST recognizes both markdown and natural language components, making it useful for formatting mixed-language articles. It also integrates with Vim & VSCode.

Interviewing fresh grads with React-heavy backgrounds always makes me feel like I know nothing about React.
But then I realize, HTMLs and things like Jekyll/11ty works just fine for most things. Honestly, how often do we need to build a Facebook or Amazon at work?

@devwithalex been maintaining LiquidJS for almost 10 years, kind of feels like I should try it once. Just not sure how doable it is with nothing to sell.
