Police today raided our ticket holder from Shahdara Yasir Gillani's in-laws home and took his wife with them to an unknown location.

She is a government school teacher and mother of four kids and a totally non political woman.

They took her while leaving the youngest daughter(who's 1.5 year old) weeping behind.

These are unprecedented times in our country.
I doubt even in occupied Kashmir this level of cruelty could happen.

Never have women been humiliated for using their constitutional right to protest peacefully in any democracy let alone in a one that is muslim.
This is a planned campaign to depoliticise women in the country.

The clampdown and terror campaign against women is being done so that their men would discourage their political participation.

And now there are increasingly reports coming that some of the women are being molested and harassed in jail.

جب فردِ واحد نے بند دروازوں کے پیچھے ہماری حکومت کو ہٹانے اور مجرموں کے اسی گروہ کو واپس لانے کا فیصلہ کیا جو 3 عشروں سے پاکستان کو لوٹ رہا تھا تو ہماری معیشت تباہی کے گھاٹ اترنے لگی۔

یہ اعدادوشمار ظاہر کرتے ہیں کہ پاکستان کے عوام کا اس سے بڑھ کر ن��صان کسی دشمن کیلئے بھی ممکن نہ تھا جتنا پی ڈی ایم نے گزشتہ ایک برس کے دوران کیا۔

معیشت کے حوالے سے یہ ہماری تاریخ کا بدترین سال تھا۔

Last year on the 25th of May commenced our descent into fascism. While three long marches by PDM during the 3.5 years of PTI govt were allowed without any hindrance, we faced the full force of state terror.
Houses broken in the middle of the night and PTI office bearers and workers kidnapped. And then whoever got to Islamabad faced tear gas, rubber bullets and police brutality.

Some of us thought it was one off but that was just the beginning.
Today the largest and the only Federal party is facing the full fury of state power without any accountability. Over 10,000 PTI workers and supporters in jail including senior leadership and some facing custodial torture.

On the pretext of arson on 9th may (condemned by the entire PTI leadership) the state is trying to dismantle the party including “forced divorces” and trying PTI members in military courts. Those in PDM and the journalist community who are cheerleaders for this yazeediyat should know that this is not dismantling PTI but our democracy i.e. our freedom.

However this attempt to enslave us will fail as we have a politically aware young population who despite media being muzzled gets its information from Social Media.
