ఐదు దశాబ్దాల సుదీర్ఘ రాజకీయ ప్రస్థానంలో ఎంపీగా, మంత్రిగా, ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ప్రజలకు చిరస్మరణీయమైన సేవలందించిన ముద్రగడగారు విలువలకు కట్టుబడి రాజకీయాలు చేశారు. పదవులకన్నా ప్రజలనే గొప్పగా భావించారు. తన జీవితాంతం పేదల బతుకుల్లో మార్పు కోసం తపించారు.

ముఖ్య��గా కాపు సామాజికవర్గానికి పెద్దదిక్కుగా నిలిచి, వారి సంక్షేమం కోసం అలుపెరగని పోరాటం చేశారు. తాను నమ్మిన మాటకు కట్టుబడి నిలబడే తత్వం, మంచికోసం ఎంతదూరమైనా వె��్లే ధైర్యం ఆయన సొంతం. ఆత్మగౌరవానికి, నిజాయితీకి, వ్యక్తిత్వానికి ఆయన నిలువెత్తు రూపం.
ముద్రగడగారి మరణం ఆయన కుటుంబానికే కాదు.. వైయస్సార్‌ కాంగ్రెస్‌ పార్టీకి, ఆయనను అభిమానించే లక్షలాది మందికి తీరని లోటు.

ఈ విషాద సమయంలో ఆయన కుటుంబసభ్యులకు ధైర్యాన్ని ప్రసాదించాలని, ముద్రగడగారి ఆత్మకు శాంతి చేకూరాలని భగవంతుణ్ని మనస్ఫూర్తిగా ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను. వైయస్సార్‌ కాంగ్రెస్‌ పార్టీ తర��ున ముద్రగడగారికి ఘనంగా నివాళులు అర్పిస్తున్నాను.
