#Lebanon: CPJ is deeply alarmed by reports that Israeli strikes hit three media facilities in Lebanon — Al-Farrah Radio in Tyre, Al-Nour Radio, and the Al-Manar TV building — over the past 24 hours. Attacks on newsrooms and broadcast infrastructure impede reporting and deprive the public of timely, reliable information when it is most needed. Journalists are civilians and media facilities must be protected. CPJ calls on Israel and all parties to take all feasible precautions to safeguard the press and ensure journalists can report freely and safely.
