📺 Replacing Kevin De Bruyne is a major theme in Manchester City’s new documentary.

The club used recruitment software to analyse 43 criteria and identify attacking midfielders with profiles closest to the Belgian, eventually making Rayan Cherki their priority.

There were initial concerns, with Hugo Viana admitting reports described Cherki as “unpredictable” and “a bit chaotic.”

However, Viana and Txiki Begiristain investigated further and found the criticism largely related to his youth. Convinced by his ability, Pep Guardiola then held a video call with Cherki to persuade him to join City.
