earphone had 3 inner cables along with copper strands outside tiny cables. Had to burn 3 inner cables with a lighter to remove insulation and try connecting various combos to the toy (to find one earphone + ground)

For toddler’s holidays I’ve been teaching her to open her broken toys, & then I try to fix it (or we break it further).

Her fav toy was broken. I ripped off the speaker & connected an old earphone. Now works with one earphone 😂

Gemini helped understand the earphone wires. Had to try a few combos to get it working.

After-thought: I should have put a 3.5mm jack to be able to connect a speaker or any earphone.

@peregrine wait what? (just googled). that looks like plain soda. I do occasionally consume of plain unflavoured sparkling water. Didnt think it could be a trigger.

B/w I sleep at about 40deg with a lot of pillows behind me to help this angle. the acid reflux goes away in few days

(understanding so far:) For audit-sake, demarcating anything telephony separately seems like what companies do. Else selling bundled per minute saas means, telecom taxes are owed on that entire amount

@edmz If you sell/resell anything telephony services, you become liable for telecom sales taxes to be paid “per” US state. To be safe, it’s better to publicly demarcate telephony charges, and then pay sales tax only on that. Else audits, etc. B/w the problems just start there.

Calculating taxes to pay seems complicated enough that there are companies that do just tax calculation and remittance for communication taxes.
