Just attended a webinar on Disability Hate Crime. Although some in the Deaf community do not consider it a disability, a lot of the time it only becomes one simply due to lack of communication of those who use sign language as a primary language! So frustrated!π€¬

I wish people would understand that being Deaf does not always mean the world is silent to us. Some of us have residual hearing and yes, others are completely Deaf.
Also not all of us can lipread and/or use sign language and making assumtions is frustrating!
