On this International Human Rights Day, Mahzaib, the niece of Rashid Hussain, states that her uncle, Rashid Hussain, was arrested and abducted on 26th December 2018 from the UAE. Later, he was deported to Pakistan on 22nd June 2019. Since then, there has been no news about his whereabouts. It has been almost eight years since we raised our voices for his safe recovery and knocked on every door for justice, yet we have been left unanswered. During these eight years, the state has used various tactics to silence us by threatening, harassing, torturing, and even imprisoning me.
