Since the film was set in Mumbai, themes like terrorism and sleeper cells felt more aligned with a Hindi audience. To keep the Tamil connect strong, ARM placed a Tamil family in Mumbai — retaining the core backdrop while ensuring the story remained relatable to Tamil viewers.
