Day 11 of #14daysofwindowshacking it's funny it seems i missed a day of report, i was busy trying the figure some side distraction out which i encoutered while going through breaching active directory @tryhackme, i had to pause my windows server installation.
Day 10 of #14daysofwindowshacking i'm still not done setting my home lab up, i have been battling with installing windows server on VM for the past 2 days now, issue is the machine i'm working with has no cooling system, apparently the fan is not working๐
Day 9 of #14daysofwindowshacking windows is really a heavy operating system, so i'm trying to add windows server 2019 and windows 10 enterprise to create my active directory forest on my home lab. Windows was too slow to boot.
Day 8 of #14daysofwindowshacking I learnt some really interesting stuff yesterday, i was able to share stuff over smb protocol, between my windows and linux machine. After installing pfsense on the vm i moved on to install parrot os.
Day 7 of #14daysofwindowshacking i was able to finish blaster yesterday which is a sequel to ice cast, i'm currently working on creating an home lab, which has an active directory set-up and an attacking machine.
Day 5 of #14daysofwindowshacking This is no play, i spent the whole of yesterday battling a powershell scripting task @tryhackme , but i'm good now, i started reading "learning windows powershell in a month of lunches" by Don Jones.
Day 4 of #14daysofwindowshacking i realized everything you can do on a bash shell, can be done on powershell, you'd just be using some .NET functions and everything that's been returned is an object, so passing command output to another command is made easy
#14daysofwindowshacking Day 3..i have completed windows fundamental, things are all coming together little by little. i'm presently trying to understand Active directory and what it is all about, but i took a quick detour to learn a bit on windows powershell
