Hi Mark, no not at all. Many police officers are not afraid to turn to the paranormal if all else fails and Roy certainly will again at some point. And he does of course in the ITV adaptation of Dead Simple - in scenes @JohnSimmSociety acts brilliantly & convincingly. #1PMRead

Jersey suited the claustrophobic setting of I FOLLOW YOU perfectly. The story relies on Marcus and Georgie bumping into each other again after their first encounter, and in Jersey 9X5 miles and a small population that is very credible - Lara and I bump into people daily #1PMRead

@MackayGillian @panmacmillan Hi Gillian, I really love the stage adaptions! I have learned so much about what people respond to by sitting in the back of theatres watching the audiences! It was always my dream to have a stage play of my work, and Looking Good Dead @PeterJamesStage will be my 5th! #1PMRead

#1PMRead Silence of the Lambs is one of my top 10 favourite books. I also loved the play of Perfect Murder with Shane Ritchie & Jessie Wallace

@KerenPanMac @panmacmillan Hi Keren, my biggest influences were Graham Greene, Conan Doyle & more recently Thomas Harris's Silence of the Lambs. Greene is my hero, as when I read Brighton Rock, set in my home town, I vowed one day I would try to write a novel set in Brighton that was 10% as good. #1PMRead

@al_saunders @panmacmillan Hi Alex, in normal times I go out regularly with Sussex - and other - police forces. Everything changes constantly in the police, - acronyms, technology, procedures, and I try hard to keep current. And the police like that I try to portray them accurately and fairly, #1PMRead

@panmacmillan In Dubai in 2009 I thought I was having coffee with a couple of police officers. But there was a big communication failure! Dressed in a t-shirt & shorts I was ushered into a hall at their Police HQ, where 450 uniformed cadets stood and saluted waiting for my speech! #1PMRead

@peterhoward22 @panmacmillan I'll always have a soft spot for Dead Simple as it started the series, and so many peeps told me they loved it and were terrified in equal measures! But I've loved writing each and I particularly loved Find Them Dead, learning so much about the way courts really work. #1PMRead
