Josiah will wage war in a heartbeat if he believes it’s just, but he’s also come to understands the value of love—and family. He’d probably pick #2—provided no one died as a result. 😅

Cassie would rather defeat her greatest enemy, hands down. In the first book, Cassie isn't even all that sure she believes in that kind of love anyway, so wanting to win the heart of her soul mate...well, the idea would just make her laugh.

At 12, Kai doesn't see the appeal of romance. Why would he want a soulmate? Sounds like a hassle. The only interest he has in a girl is if she wants to go on an adventure with him, but that goes for everyone. He'd definitely rather defeat his greatest enemy.
