There has been a 61.72% increase in the number of #hungcouncils between #2016LGE (27) & #2021MunicipalElections (70) where no single party achieved a 50%-+-1 electoral majority. While the NC recorded a 70% jump from 3 to 10, WC & KZN registered significant increases too #sabcnews

@MmusiMaimane is not credited with significant increase of @Our_DA votes from Africans in the #2016LGE whilst @EFFSouthAfrica was participating for the first time on Municipal elecetions...#EFFkillsDA 5.9% & 5.5% decrease in GP &WC respectively....

@EMahosi @mothowaka @NMandelaBaymuni UDM wasn’t even the official opposition in that metro, they were rejected by the electorate in the #2016LGE, yet today they’re governing through a backroom deal . It’s total disrespect for the electorate.
