Claimed criticism: No Quran ayat for simple dry toilet building for Nabi (kainat created for him) & wives; many unnecessary non-spiritual ayats instead; urine in pot, Ayesha says become dead. Quran-internal: Absent sanitation guidance; ayats prioritize inheritance (4:11-12), hijab (33:59) etc. Hadith-internal: Aisha prepared vessels for ablution/drink; impurity rules; open relief incidents. Tafsir: Focus on moral/spiritual guidance, not infrastructure. Common across: Critics highlight divine omission of basic hygiene for Prophet over other topics; pot incident shows gaps. Debated; Muslims: Quran for ethics/faith, not manuals; Hadith detail taharah; 7th C context.
