@EmmaJMcKinley presented on @LFCSSomerset at the #SevernEstuary Partnership Forum 2021 today.
The project has had many wins, including a 72% decrease in dog fouling at surveyed sites.
Hopefully we can anticipate a Wales equivalent project in the near future!

SEP's Emma McKinley shares our flagship project Litter Free Coast and Sea Somerset - hosted by SEP since 2016. LFCSS focuses on reducing marine litter, improving bathing water quality, and promoting clean water flow from land to coast within Somerset!

SEP has been working on projects including Discover the Severn, which reconnects individuals with the Estuary. We facilitated nature-based learning, organised litter picking events, and created activity packs showcasing the culture and wildlife within the Estuary!
