#BoMgijimi today is the 33rd anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s release from prison. We ran #27ForFreedom - 1 km for each year he spent in jail - from the Paarl prison. Super hot and tough but happy to have commemorated the day. ✊🏼⁦@tumisole⁩ #RunningwithTumiSole

Received one of my most valuable gifts on this day in 2017 after escorting Uncle Kathy Kathrada to the Nelson Mandela #27ForFreedom race at Drakenstein Correctional Facility. We got to replicate Madiba's walk to freedom he did upon his release on this day in 1990. #FondMemories

Played in the Nelson Mandela #27forFreedom chess tournament with the little guy. At Drakenstein Prison from where Nelson was released. Very cool. Noah said I should tell @ginger_gm and @fionchetta 🤓
