2 upsides to being ill, 8kg down and dad bod gone according to @AmyEarnshaw1 and watched #28up with my (also ill) son. It’s ❤️😢😀😭😡🤗🤭🥰 We both agree it’s the best TV show ever. Only 7 years till the next episode… 🥲

feel for Ryan & talan, both lovely men who deserved better growing up. Interesting how common divorce & arsshole dads have been for this group. plus just one person married & with kids, I'm 28 to & people from my year at school there's a lot of kids & a few marriages about #28up

Slight touch of irony to the fact that with 1.4 million viewers the launch of Alexander Armstrong fronted #Iceland doc series on C5 beat BBC1 at 9pm - 1.3m for #28Up - when he is more normally seen on Beeb every weekday as host of teatime quiz #Pointless (watched by 1.8m y’day)

Watching #28up. I always believed that the teenage yrs were the most difficult. Now it seems modern life is pushing that in to early adulthood😓 Ryan's determination however, is awe inspiring. Truly moved by his 'taking life by the balls' attitude

#28up oh Talan. You poor kid. Breaks my heart to see how school failed you and broke you, and the years of depression it's led to. That woman standing over you, hands on hips, yelling at you - I really hope she's sorry now when you were so clearly neurodivergent not naughty.
