Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, #CNS along with Mrs Shashi Tripathi, President #NWWA, attended the Diamond Jubilee Annual Day Celebration of Navy Children School, Delhi at Talkatora Stadium, as the Chief Guest on #29Aug 25.
The event featured patriotic and cultural performances, unveiling of a 3D model of #NCSDelhi, release of the Diamond Jubilee Song and Coffee Table Book, award of the Capt Mahendra Nath Mulla Memorial Trophy, and launch of a student-authored storybook.
In his address, #CNS congratulated the school on its exceptional performance in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities in the academic year 2024-25.
Inspiring students, CNS shared the valuable life lessons imbibed over five decades of his journey in uniform, which started at #SainikSchoolRewa -

Thursday 29 August 1935, Queen Astrid of Belgium died at age of 30 in a car accident in Küssnacht, Switzerland, in a car thst was driven by her husband Leopold III, King of Belgium.
She was born on Friday 17 November 1905 as Princess Astrid of Sweden as a member of the Swedish House of Bernadotte.
In September 1926, she became the Duchess of Brabant after her engagement with Prince Leopold of Belgium, Duke of Brabant, was announced.
Thursday 4 November 1926, she became Princess Astrid after her civil marriage with Prince Leopold of Belgium in Stockholm on
Wednesday 10 November 1926, they were married religiously in the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, Brussels.
Saturday 17 February 1934, she became the Queen of the Belgians as the first wife of King Leopold III on the day Leopold III became the new King of the Belgians.
Queen Astrid and King Leopold III had three children.
Their daughter, Joséphine-Charlotte later became the Grand Duchess Consort of Luxembourg.
Their sons Baudouin (Boudewijn) and Albert both ascended the throne later as King of the Belgians as King Baudouin I (Boudewijn I) of Belgium and King Albert Ii of Belgium.
