Why isn't this on a train? Certainly a much lesser risk of a catastrophic accident than cruising the Bruce Highway. #2tracks matter.

@BrendanNatoli The #LNP has committed to building the Direct Sunshine Coast line (#dscl) all the way to Maroochydore. They have not [effectively] lied to us about #rail like the current govt has - on multiple occasions. #B2N #2tracks #publictransport Govt integrity is non-existent on our rail

@ozbob13 If only they'd built it when they said they would 2x previously.. first in 2005 for $300m (to Landsborough) and again in 2018 for $550.8m (cut back to Beerwah) Now we're in 2024, and it's $1.0042b (cut back to Beerwah) Broken promises costing millions are now billions #2tracks

#2tracks #rail duplication to #Nambour. Promised to be built by 4 years ago. A $6.25 million ($5m feds, $1.25m state) study is delayed, now due to be completed by mid-2024. Yes, yet ANOTHER study as the previous ones grow old and disintegrate in a filing cabinet somewhere...

This is why #SunshineCoast #rail from Beerburrum to Beerwah hasn't started after over 5 and a half years. He spends all his time making pitiful PR videos and no time actually building it. #2tracks

We’re building more than 400 zero-emission buses. Made in Queensland, by Queenslanders. Simple as that.

Has #B2N been scrapped #BartMellishMP ? This from #ShapingSEQ2023, p112, Table 9. It cites no improvements by #B2N north of Beerburrum - where the #rail duplication ended in April 2009. B2N was announced 5 & a half years ago by @MarkBaileyMP c.c. Premier @StevenJMiles #2tracks

@napost13 @Byoz01 Lol, we all remember that false narrative by DP Jackie Trad. In fact, Govt reports cite #2tracks duplication to Nambour as improving rail into the inner city, according to the 2008 Inner City Rail Capacity Study.

No business case required in #QldPol, unless, of course, it is critical #rail infrastructure, like #2tracks or #dscl. No wonder the Federal Government don't want to give Queensland $ and complained about their planning processes. #captainscall will suffice. Wasting billions!
