We have now decided to take the very hard decision of canceling our preparatory challenge for graduate school/scholarship applications this year.
I believe the reason is obvious and..
I am yet to make a decision on whether to continue or suspend #30WeekChallenge for this year. A decision will be made and communicated soon.
However, I have been very impressed by people who are already reaching out and showing interest. I love the idea of fighting till the end.

I was billed to have a visa interview rehearsal with one of my #30WeekChallenge mentees this weekend but I received a message he got from the embassy that says “a consular officer found you ineligible for a nonimmigrant visa..”
To say this is disappointing is an understatement.

Immediately our #30WeekChallenge ended, the English Premier League started.

You probably haven’t imagined it but the #30WeekChallenge is for 30 weeks out of 52 weeks in a year.
What this means is that prospective scholars have spent almost 2/3 of the year preparing for application while their mentor has sacrificed the same time mentoring them.

Finally, now that you have been given this personalized mentorship, and adequately prepared to take your place on the table of international scholars, do us that single honor and submit applications. This is the only way we can measure the success of the #30WeekChallenge!
I also know a lot of people participated in this program “silently”, taking advantage of our timetable and completing tasks in private, don’t worry, you’re a part of us too and we’re proud of you.

Whenever the annual #30WeekChallenge is coming to an end, I feel some relief & a great sense of pride.
But the greatest feeling is that of accomplishment.
I just think to myself; man, you’ve just done a job worth millions of naira for hundreds of people for FREE.
