Day 30 of #30DaysOfShipping: I forgot to tweet yesterday and the day before, so here are updates on #concat: The type checker now has types for None, Ellipsis, NotImplemented, and exceptions. I have naive generics for object-like types. And the type checker can handle imports!

Dusted off my old DotaBot project and added some #Docker. It's so powerful to ship a container so you don't have to worry about dependencies, etc. Recommend this to everyone at #30DaysofShipping Deployment soon!

Day 27 of #30DaysOfShipping: I did some work on #concat's type checker. In particular, I added a 'no-return' or 'bottom' type, which represents the return type of a function that doesn't return. Think of a function that just raises an exception, for example.

It's long weekend here in Canada and pretty sure all my friends are out camping, road trips, having fun. Me? I'm staying inside for covid and learning data structures and algorithms to get job ready. Got to keep the #30DaysOfShipping Spirit up!

#30DaysofShipping I finally finished my rest api endpoints for the backend! 🥳 Turns out there was a big bug that made my entire process so difficult, knew there was something fishy Now to help build the rest of the front end/uploading

Day 20 of #30DaysOfShipping: I got further into improving the tests for #concat's transpiler and writing a blog post about #Python3 abstract syntax trees. Too bad my work was interrupted by an issue in my @AtomEditor setup leading to freezes when I type a comment in Markdown.

Day 19 of #30DaysOfShipping: I attended some really fun workshops at @codelandconf. I found @colindean's workshop on the #plaintextaccounting system especially engaging since I've been moving towards plain-text tooling over the past year -- @todotxt and org files, to be specific.
