@Leeoku Start with the easy ones. explain your thought process for the solution out loud to somebody or yourself while you’re doing them. Interviewers want to know what you’re thinking so it’s good practice
Day 17 #30daysOfShipping#shipForLife: made a working navbar, nothing too big. Spoke with team about moving forward with front end. Building motivation to code again. Finding a team was half the battle. Very grateful @Leeoku
It’s not so important that you didn’t do a lot, what’s more important is building the habit and motivation for it. Day 31 starts tomorrow and then so does the rest of your career!
On Day 30 of #30DaysofShipping, I reflected.
-It doesn't feel like I did much this past month, but maybe I did
-Feel behind and not job ready, probably
What I decided is to just do as much as I can to put myself in the right path. Study, try, and learn from others.
I can do it

#30daysofShipping day 16: not going to count the days i didn't code! Got back on the ol coding horse today. Reorganized a react file, deleted some repeat code. Studied some data structures- hashmaps/ arraylist. been busy moving, but once im there ill be working to complete the ui
Day whatever. #30daysOfShipping: I haven’t been posting the past few days, been doing a lot of context switching when it comes to code. Just planning for the front end design of Pearish, but I should spend this time to learn the full stack even though I’m not directly contributin
@Leeoku Nah, I’ve definitely spent more time on that on some error that had a simple fix all along, yet still had to have two mentors debug my crappy code for me at a hackathon...
Days 11+12 #30daysOfShipping ugh I have this negative feedback loop of, not getting something right then getting distracted by something easier. I’ve been struggling with making an express server work with my create react app for a while, but maybe I need to exhaust all options.
Days 9+10:
Researched various options for databases, I think my team is going to go with GCP database for now. I think going MongoDB isnt totally out of the question yet, as I was thinking this will be a MERN stack web app. Will continue to learn express+react in the mean time
Day 8 of #30DaysofShipping
-Still doing Next.js tutorial. Maybe I should have done the React one more in depth first. O well I'll go back after, 2 more modules (really starting to dislike Front End)
-Led group meeting with @TylerHoh3 idea for StockedUp/Pearish
Day 7+8 #30DaysOfShipping:
Sun- watched videos on express.
Mon- it’s official: my project group likes my idea and we’re going with it! StockedUp will solve the problem when people forget what groceries they already have and what needs to be consumed before expiring.
