Day 30 of #30DaysOfShipping: I forgot to tweet yesterday and the day before, so here are updates on #concat: The type checker now has types for None, Ellipsis, NotImplemented, and exceptions. I have naive generics for object-like types. And the type checker can handle imports!

Dusted off my old DotaBot project and added some #Docker. It's so powerful to ship a container so you don't have to worry about dependencies, etc. Recommend this to everyone at #30DaysofShipping Deployment soon!

Day 27 of #30DaysOfShipping: I did some work on #concat's type checker. In particular, I added a 'no-return' or 'bottom' type, which represents the return type of a function that doesn't return. Think of a function that just raises an exception, for example.

It's long weekend here in Canada and pretty sure all my friends are out camping, road trips, having fun. Me? I'm staying inside for covid and learning data structures and algorithms to get job ready. Got to keep the #30DaysOfShipping Spirit up!

Day 19*/ #30DaysOfShipping Update: 😎 Published a very sneaky npm package to test in production. You'll never find it 🕵️‍♂️ ✅ Hello world component (baby step!) ✅ AuthenticationForm component! 🙄 Refactoring to make this all dev friendly (*missed Day 18, and 17 was elsewhere)

#30DaysofShipping Im sure many of us can relate after watching this vid quote today, this resonated with me more on the path of learning code: To achieve your dream (of being a programmer) you must ✔️Continuously acquire knowledge ✔️Persevere ✔️Be willing to fail.

Day 20 of #30DaysOfShipping: I got further into improving the tests for #concat's transpiler and writing a blog post about #Python3 abstract syntax trees. Too bad my work was interrupted by an issue in my @AtomEditor setup leading to freezes when I type a comment in Markdown.

Day 19 of #30DaysOfShipping: I attended some really fun workshops at @codelandconf. I found @colindean's workshop on the #plaintextaccounting system especially engaging since I've been moving towards plain-text tooling over the past year -- @todotxt and org files, to be specific.

Wrestled with @vuejs and @RollupJS today - and lost. After many hours, no discernible progress 😔 New game plan: start over from square one and build up. Publish a hello world component to npm and take baby steps all the way! Day 15/ #30DaysOfShipping

Day 18 of #30DaysOfShipping: I decided to try to get some feedback on Todoer, my @MailspringApp plugin, using this form: https://t.co/QaNl1LsmUf Does this count as user research experience? No progress on #concat today because I spent most of it at @codelandconf.
