Day 2 of #31daysoflight ! Today’s thought is simple. Jesus Christ really knows you. He has experienced your pains, sorrows, and burdens not just related to your sins, but also the general unfairness of life. All that is unfair was made fair through the Atonement of Jesus Christ in the garden, on the cross, and through His resurrection. Seek Him and you will find peace!

Day 1 of #31daysoflight ! Today is the anniversary of my baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was 8 years old. I remember going to my Bishop’s office and discussing the importance of baptism. I don’t remember much of the meeting, but we read this verse from 2 Nephi 31:5: “5 And now, if the Lamb of God, he being holy⁠, should have need to be baptized by water, to fulfil all righteousness, O then, how much more need have we, being unholy, to be baptized⁠, yea, even by water!” My father baptized me and many of my family members stood around me to gift me the companionship of the Holy Ghost. Every year on December 1, along with every Sunday, I renew my desire to follow Jesus Christ. Follow Him. Do as He would do and as He did!
