I've made more design changes to my travel uke. Tuning pegs behind the body instead of inside. Putting strings inside the instrument body was frustrating. I also want to change the neck to be tapered. #3dprinted #3dprintedinstruments #ukulele

I designed a travel soprano ukulele and created a diatonic neck. It plays, but when tuned to GCEA, it's very difficult to play. All the notes on the fretboard are wholesteps. The chords you are familiar with don't work here. #3dprinting #ukulele #3dprintedinstruments #3dprinted

#3dprinted #3Dprinting #ukulele #3dprintedinstruments #travelukulele I've made some design changes to my playable 3d printable travel ukulele. I made the walls on the body thicker and made some other minor changes. I also created a diatonic neck, which I have not tested yet.

#3dprinting #cad #fusion360 #ukulele #ukuleleharp #3dprintedinstruments More progress on my ukulele harp. I need to add support arches to the back of the 3 harp sections then I will also add space for 3 harp strings. I could try doing 4 harp strings, but 3 may be enough.

I turned my code into a thing! Started the weekend with a program that generated a Ukulele. Ended the weekend with something that looks a lot like the real thing. Tomorrow we'll see if it holds a tune (or explosively dismantles itself) :) #3dprintedinstruments #makestuff #code
