When we started the #3DRelimb project @Northeast_iHub the goal was to train local talent and take on the challenge of Relimbing Northeast and the rest of Nigeria!

The #3DRelimb project is designed to enable amputees to do more and restore mobility.
Beyond that, we also provide mentorship and access to our capacity building programs for the youth in the North-East
Our hope is to see him return back to his studies & achieve his dreams.
Because the hubs are designed to create solutions, Mohammed became a beneficiary of the North-East Humanitarian Innovation Hub. He receieved a new prosthetic limb from @Northeast_iHub and now works as a tailoring assistant.
He hopes to continue his studies in Crime Prevention.
It has been a life changing journey for us all and our amazing 3D Lab interns. 6 lives #Enabled4More, 100s more to go.

3 months into the 3D Internship at the Hub and our interns have scanned, modelled, printed, assembled and fitted their first unaided 3-D printed prosthesis limb for our dear friend, ex policeman Mr Tumba James!
Besides this being absolutely cool, it just shows how far we can go when creativity and innovative thinking meets technology.
