There's a catch here, you don't decide who gets to be in search results. Its search engine which in most cases is Google. And because many folks can sell Pizzas, and would want to be there, it's a competition. Hence the term Search Engine Optimisation. Technically, it translates to using value-added communication to design your website in such a way that Google finds value added in prioritising your brand when users are searching. Here are a few pointers to keep in mind for a good SEO gameplan : - Do your keyword research well. Understand the context behind keywords. Use your customer understanding skills here. ( Keywords are the search terms used by users ) - Use relevant keywords in your website content. Avoid Keyword stuffing, which is force-fitting keywords just for the sake of it. Looks bad and most importantly, ranks worst !! - Use Meta Tags.
