Finally watched the 4th republic and enjoyed it
Well done to all, Kateyfit una do well @HenshawKate and hmm the twist ๐
madam Mabel
And yes, I also enjoyed #ElevatorBaby and #4threponnetflix.
The former will crack you up and the later will give you a bit of insight into politics in Nigeria.
While watching 4th Republic, I kept asking myself 'how do people (especially politicians) who are responsible for the death of others sleep at night?' What has happened to the conscience of men?
@HenshawKate I sight you, you were really wonderful. I never expected that ending.
Thank you @HenshawKate for #4threponnetflix. The movie is amazing trust me.. More wins Kate ๐ช๐ฟ๐ช๐ฟ @netflix
@eclectictope It is a waste of time and effort. You can watch 4th Republic sha #4threponnetflix , I totally enjoyed it. I also enjoyed Elevator Baby #ElevatorBaby. I was actually impressed with the acting. I was shocked at the bad review it got on Twitter. I'm so looking forward to '76

Don't forget, we're still showing on Netflix ๐ฟ๐ฟ #4threpOnNetflix
Las las, @4thRep rekindles a rather fading belief in a Nollywood that has become more gloss and glam than actual storytelling. This is one film that matches cinematic delight with matchless acting and authentic storytelling. I love it! #4threponnetflix
This is perhaps @HenshawKate's finest in recent times. And that's high praise for an actress who remains one of the few you can count on to deliver consistently. #4threponnetflix
But for all there is to it, @4thRep shines as a political thriller. It excites, it sucks its audience in and the telling is as believable as they come. And that twist, while one waited for it, came effortlessly and that is a rarity in our films these days. #4threponnetflix
Lucky's case is the typical greedy mindset of the Nigerian youth. But his kidnap, torture and death, too could be differently sold. #4threponnetflix
And if it was meant as a scare, a one-scene backstory would have sufficed though clearly, the MO of the other guys suggests otherwise. Perhaps the attempt could have been framed differently and not the way it went, that way, we save the story. #4threponnetflix
I mean, the car and its occupants were literally sitting ducks and no assassination of that type would be complete without the assassins confirming the hit was successful. What was the hurry? #4threponnetflix
From the court scenes to the private investigations and the eventual twist at the end, @4thRep delivers an authentic storytelling, a beautiful cast and pristine cinematography that tickles one's excitement. #4threponnetflix
From there, the story comes to life as the backstory took us all the way to the final minutes of the polls, the rigging that led to the eventual crux of the film while we waited to see what next. #4threponnetflix
The story starts with an in medias res, a court scene with an eye witness at a collation centre violence that took 18 people. The solemnity of the witness's testimony was a good prep for what was to come #4threponnetflix
Thanks Femi. #4thRepOnNetflix

@seyeneptune #4threponnetflix Didn't finish it but wifey told me @HenshawKate wasn't all that noble and honest in her political ambition either. #Spoiler Need to finish it. Enjoyable movie from start.
