Completed the challenge! 50 days of consistent backend grinding: from DB modeling & performance → distributed fundamentals → reliability patterns ( → observability → resilience (Circuit Breaker, Rate Limiting) → security, deployment, profiling.
Day 49 #50DaysOfCode Wrapped up with Performance Profiling basics today using clinic.js flame graphs and load tests to spot bottlenecks in Node backends. Tied latencies from metrics/tracing back to code/DB/queues.

Locked inAPI Security essentials today auth (JWT/API keys), authorization, Zod validation, and OWASP basics. Protecting endpoints from abuse/injection while tying into rate limiting & logging. Critical layer for any prod backend, especially privacy tools.
Day 47 #50DaysOfCode Explored Structured Logging + Correlation IDs today making distributed logs searchable and connected. JSON logs with Pino, propagate IDs through APIs/queues/sagas, link errors back to user flows. Paired with tracing/metrics

Explored Deployment Strategies today, blue-green, canary releases, and feature flags for zero-downtime, low-risk rollouts. Monitor with metrics/tracing, rollback fast if needed. Essential for shipping resilient systems without breaking prod.

Dived into Background Jobs & Queues with BullMQ + Redis today. Decoupled heavy/async tasks (e.g., event publishing, notifications) with retries, priorities, and monitoring. Turns Outbox polling into reliable workers so no more cron hacks.

Explored Rate Limiting & Throttling today, protecting APIs from abuse, and spikes. Token bucket with Redis for distributed consistency, 429 responses, and monitoring exceeded attempts. Paired with circuit breakers, this keeps services healthy under pressure
Day 42 #50DaysOfCode
Dived into Metrics & Monitoring basics with prom-client in Node.js today. Exposed counters/gauges/histograms for retries, circuit trips, latencies, idempotency duplicates. Paired with tracing and breakers, this lets you alert before things break bad.
Day 41 #50DaysOfCode
Explored the Circuit Breaker pattern today fail fast to prevent cascading failures. When a service is down,open the circuit, return fallbacks, and probe recovery later. Paired with retries, idempotency, and tracing, this makes systems way more resilient.
