My solution to this week's #538Riddler classic.
I used a Markov chain to obtain the likelihood of each person having the cranberry sauce after N passes and the likelihood of person 11 (the person sitting opposite us) having received it by pass N.

The optimal solution to the Pinball Wizard riddle is very elusive. It requires an +1 order of magnitude precision for every ~ +3 bounces.
I managed to get to 43 bounces before running into floating point precision problems. :/

Last week's #538Riddler was about the card game SET. The most cards such that they contain no set? 12 cards with the most sets possible? I answered these questions using Python and @gurobi (sample solutions attached).
