Women are being denied even emergency care at hospitals in gop states due to the unethical abortion bans. With hospitals turning away women who are actively miscarrying & needing emergency care as they hemorrhage.
Later this month the Supreme Court will here Idaho's case requesting permission to disregard the federal law EMTALA as the state asks permission to deny pregnant patients emergency care.
If the abortion bans actually had exceptions for the life of the mother, then gop states wouldn't be suing to disregard EMTALA.

Imagine being 6 weeks pregnant, already been told you have an etopic pregnancy, in your fallopian tube, and you only have one left, and still being told that the doctors can't do anything, because "it might still be viable".
You are essentially being told that your fallopian tu e has to burst, and you risk bleeding out, before the doctors will help you. Don't forget, you won't be able to have children going forward, because now you have no fallopian tubes.
