Walking through Sarajevo’s old town with Mayor Samir Avdić 🇧🇦 - a city full of history & resilience. The restored City Hall, built in the Austro-Hungarian era, stands as a symbol of 🇧🇦’s cultural heritage & 🇦🇹’s close ties with Sarajevo. #6Days6Countries (CB)

Honoured to visit EUFOR Althea in 🇧🇦. The mission has contributed to ensuring peace & stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2004. Austria is proud to be one of the largest troop contributors & remains a reliable partner for security in the region. #6Days6Countries 🇦🇹🤝🇧🇦 (CB)

Austria & Serbia are strong partners in tackling illegal migration. With 14 Austrian police officers deployed at the 🇷🇸🇲🇰 border, our joint efforts are paying off - asylum applications in Austria are significantly decreasing. #6Days6Countries (CP) @BMI_OE

Day 3 of #6Days6Countries: In Podgorica I met EU Minister @maidagorcevic to discuss 🇲🇪’s EU path and our close economic & cultural ties. Afterwards, we joined young people to talk about 🇪🇺’s future. Because enlargement is not just a process, it‘s a promise to the next generation.

My #6Days6Countries tour carries a clear message: 🇦🇹 is pushing for EU enlargement to move faster and fairer. Austria will support the use of QMV for interim steps in the accession process while final decisions stay unanimous. The Western Balkans belong in the EU 🇪🇺🤝🇦🇱🇧🇦🇽🇰🇲🇪🇲🇰🇷🇸
