1/ IRO #79thGroup .. 2 write ups on hold, as usual because of the criminal cases. We’d all been looking at #79thGroup and associated peddlers back in 2022 .. apart from Blinky (@theFCA) that is. As in the #LCF mini-bond and many other ‘investment’ (savings) scandals the mantra was allegedly the same - ‘recycle, rinse & re-spin’. In fact, in one of the write-ups we’ll be going back to one of the #LCF crew’s alleged boiler rooms for background.

#79thGroup: suspected Ponzi scheme was allowed to stay running - unsuspecting investors then poured tens of £m in to it - despite Blinky (@theFCA) reporting it’s ‘concerns’ to law enforcement some 8 months earlier, before resuming it’s slumber. #79thGroup collapsed owing investors more than £200m.
