Speaking on the occasion, Shri Mihir Kumar, CEO, GeM, highlighted that Startups, Women and Youth Advantage Through e-Transactions (SWAYATT) embodies GeM’s vision of making public procurement more inclusive by enabling startups, women entrepreneurs and youth to access government markets directly. The programme commenced with insights on SWAYATT by Shri Ajit B. Chavan, ACEO & Chief Seller Officer, GeM, followed by addresses from distinguished guests, including Shri K. V. Rajendran, Co-Founder and Director, NEDAR Foundation; Shri Md. Salik Parwaiz, Director, Ministry of MSME; and Shri Md. Alam Ansari, Deputy Director, DPIIT. Entrepreneurs from across sectors shared their experiences of participating in public procurement through GeM. Smt. Neelima Mishra (Club First Robotics), and Ms. Pinky Maheshwari (Surprise Someone) highlighted how GeM has enabled their enterprises to access government markets and scale their businesses.
