In 2018, 45 pedestrians and cyclists were struck and killed on city streets. A close friend of one of the victims wanted to take action in making streets safer and supporting #VisionZero. This is how #880StreetsDanforth, #880StreetsPineway, + #880StreetsMountview came about.

Last month, #880StreetsDanforth showed that it's possible to create safe streets for everyone. This meant using our public streets for more than just cars, but giving valuable space to cyclists, pedestrians and residents in the area.
