Contrary to my expectations, #96A over SE Arb sea failed to develop as a significant system. Ensemble guidance showed 60% of the members seen with 25,30knots but in reality it remained as a very weak system.. Most of the winds over the southern quadrant were mostly associated with Deep Convection /Parental wave (ER) not due to lowering of the surface pressure beneath this Cycir... Owing to poor upper level divergence /Diffluence So this failed to consolidate.

A disturbance seen developing over Arabian sea close to #Maldives in association with EQ rossby wave that is passing over Arb sea .So Twin Cycir seen spinning on either sides of the EQ along 65-67E .
Though models are not aggressive with the development but there is a chance for Cyclonic storm too as most of the ensemble model members shows D/DD with increasing lower level vorticity.
But the real time oceanic conditions shows very warm waters of 30*c, Atmospheric conditions around the system also looks favorable with Good poleward seen for the convection as Upper air westerly trough seen providing strong Divergence . This short period of favorable conditions may help for the intensification of the system into DD/CS in next 48-72hrs &thereafter conditions may turn hostile so it may weaken & get drifted westward towards Somalia.

System is expected to move North-Northeastward under the guidance of the Ridge that is extending from Vietnam Anticyclone . Mid -upper level flow to the North is totally dominated by Mid latitude westerly systems.
