We are excited to support #AB403, the Community Health Workers and Promotora/es Medi-Cal Benefit and Services Transparency Act (Asm. Ortega), as well as our budget request to increase wages for CHW/P/Rs. Assembly Judiciary Committee votes unanimously to pass #AB403, which decriminalizes jaywalking. Current law makes jaywalking a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. This makes it a civil offense with fine of up to $100. #nvleg
