⛰️ Ten years ago, I sat on the side of a mountain path in Colorado that I couldn’t climb. My health held me back. I was morbidly obese, gasping for air, and broken-hearted. I still can't believe I snapped a picture of that moment on September 28, 2015. Who does that? Who snaps a photo in their lowest moment? Only God knew I would need it! On September 28, 2025, I’m going back to that mountain. This time, I’ll have the strength and energy to conquer it—with freedom and focus. 🙌 And in fact, our plan is to climb further to two more lakes past Nymph Lake at the Bear Lake stop in RMNP. To prepare, I’m starting a 40-Day ABCDEF Freedom Fast tomorrow. It’s a super-simplified, protein-focused plan—no excess carbs, just the fuel my body truly needs. Here’s what ABCDEF stands for: 🥑 A – Avocado (maybe!) 🥓 B – Butter & Beef (and Bacon) 🍗 C – Chicken & Coffee 🥛 D – Dairy (small splash in my one cup of coffee) 🥚 E – Eggs 🐟 F – Fish & Shellfish That’s it. Simple. Focused. Freedom. This will include three days a week of PSMF (protein-sparing modified fasting). And here’s my reality check: my Lumen has been confirming just how stressed my body is. Even on days I eat zero carbs, it shows me in a high carb-burning state before bed—my body’s way of trying to protect itself. Living in functional freeze is zero fun, ya know? 2025 has been the most challenging year of my life. But I refuse to let it take me out. I’ve been using strategies that are slowly bearing fruit, and I believe these 40 days will multiply those results. Maybe your “mountain” isn’t in Colorado—but we all have a mountain we want to climb.
