I look behind the blacked-out cells in FSU's financial models for Project Osceola. More money from Nike, media contracts, tickets, and concessions. More expenses for coaches' salaries, but no sign of athlete compensation. My three takeaways: 1. FSU's financial house is in order. If they can avoid a gigantic exit fee/grants of right release from the ACC they are well-positioned to invest in athletics. 2. FSU has one JV in place, one possibly on deck (marketing), and maybe one in the wings (hospitality). 3.
