#ACPCs concept around for ~8 yrs. But nobody has tried to solve hurdle of mass adoption: 1-Delta of $50 bet. laptops w & wo cellular 2-Who pays for that difference? 3-#Wifi is now everywhere & better, people don't want to pay monthly $ 4-Battery life when both #5G & Wifi On

Good idea to build laptops and tablets with #5G support (just like [almost] no laptop comes without wi-fi now, most DO NOT have network jack for cable)

Big issue with #ACPCs is support. Spent ~3hrs with @SamsungUS even for them to locate my #WindowsonARM #GalaxyBookS in their system, jumping between depts. These have #IMEI not SN. Reps always confuse it as phone or #chromebook $qcom @Qualcomm @Arm @Windows @SamsungMobile

@Microsoft extending #Appassure to @Arm is a great step toward addressing the lingering app compatibility issue for Arm based #acpcs https://t.co/v8clDTpPnn #windowsonsnapdragon @Qualcomm

Also from last week's #SnapdragonSummit, here's a video that shows the 3 tiers of #ACPCs (always connected PCs) we can expect from @Qualcomm's new #Snapdragon laptop chips, 7c, 8c, and 8cx (the last 2 being #5G-capable). Enjoy :) https://t.co/Sw76uNRbik

Very cool! One of my beefs with #ACPCs until now was the price. That changes in 2020: @qualcomm just introduced non-premium tiers 8c And 7c, based on the 8cx platform, meaning more affordable ACPCs will be hitting the shelves before too long. This is great. #SnapdragonSummit
