Five KC-135s as OKIE 11-15 have flown from Tinker Air Force Base to Bangor Air National Guard Base on the U.S. East Coast. While some did, not all of them flew as low as FL270, nor did they do so for their entire journey, therefore it's unlikely they're actually towing anything now, however they may be positioning to tow something across the Atlantic in the next 24-48 hours.
Additionally, three C-17s are positioning to Barksdale Air Force Base. REACH 271 has already moved on to Gander International Airport. I believe the chances of these C-17s ending up at RAF Fairford now are high.

A further eight KC-135 Stratotankers are headed east tonight.
MOTOWN 01-04 flight of four are headed into Bangor Air National Guard Base from Milwaukee, while REACH 715/718/724 are en route direct Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, OKIE 11 & OKIE 14 are also headed in the same direction on their own, currently flying at FL270. Any receivers are currently unknown.

Yesterday, US Air Force C-17A Globemaster III #AE07DA as BNDGE08 made a round trip from Ramstein AB, Germany to Baghdad, Iraq and back. The call sign and mission coding indicate this was a medevac mission.
