Yesterday, P-8A 169544 #AE5F39 did a test flight, this is now the 4th known AAS + MUOS configured P-8. Recent trends suggest that MUOS may be installed on more AAS equipped P-8s.

P-8A 169554 has been replaced by 169544 #AE5F39 at NAS Jacksonville. We are now back at a fleet of 21...again.

P-8A 169554 of VP-26, now VP-5, had AAS removed. Busy bird: 554 operated from Sigonella monitor the Black Sea, it returned to the US to do Southern border ISR. It then Went to Isa Air Base to patrol the Gulf of Oman and Israel. After, it returned to monitor the Black Sea.
