The sound design was crafted to build tension and desire, as the piece functions as a trailer. My objective was to create anticipation and keep the viewer in a constant state of expectation.
I structured the audio using rising textures, controlled impacts, and progressively intensifying low-end energy to generate momentum. Each transition was carefully shaped to reinforce the rhythm and heighten suspense, guiding the audience toward key moments without fully resolving the tension.
The result creates a strong sense of buildup and emotional pull, encouraging the viewer to want more rather than revealing everything at once.

Last month, I did some visual exploration and tech tests for a project at the studio. Most of them didn’t really make it into the final thing (and even if they did, you’d probably barely notice them), but I thought it was a waste to just leave them sitting in After Effects. So I cut them together into a little video!
The music is 550C TAKE CONTROL from the sci-fi movie The Wandering Earth — I’m a huge fan!
All the effects are built around Fractal Noise + Colorama, and I threw in a bunch of distortion effects and DEEPGLOW too.
I love trying out different design ideas, and honestly, I have no clue what I’ll post next, haha. #aftereffects

I previously used this concept with dots that repelled each other magnetically. It looked really organic. So this time, I wanted to try it on typography.
The annoying part was always offsetting the keyframes manually. But with Quick Offset in AE 25.4, it’s actually super simple to handle.
Also, let's talk about that background. I’ve been using After Effects for years, and I’ve honestly never been able to get gradients this deep and varied until today. Everything is 100% procedural.
