The Maldives aviation industry's largest full-scale emergency exercise is scheduled to begin on March 16, 2022, from 1600hrs to 1800hrs @VelanaAirport. 30 agencies with over 400 individuals will be involved in assessing the airport's readiness & multi-agency coordination. #AFEX22

MACL conducted a Table-Top Exercise (TTEX) for the core responding agencies, to prepare for the upcoming airport full-scale emergency exercise (#AFEX22). The exercise aims to familiarize with the changes in the emergency management concept of Velana International Airport.
We initiated conduction of airport topography session for all responding vehicle operators of health care services. #AFEX22
A total of 70 participants from the agencies attended this meeting. Our sincere appreciation goes to all the stakeholders assisting and responding to this exercise.
